Mistic Limited is pleased to announce the release of a new and improved version of their Asbestos Register.   This version has been extensively re-worked in the latest software "GENERO" and is available in 2 database technologies ( INFORMIX and GENERODB) . Both database versions are available under either Unix/Linux or Windows operating systems.  This new version has improved windows functionality, a new look and feel with mouse activated icons replacing function keys.  An online manual and reports are viewed or printed from standard windows applications such as word and excell.  All this gives this new version a clean new look and  the user a more pleasant experience using the software. Increasing Primary and Secondary Legislation, together with Recommended Best Practice, require that landlords maintain detailed records of ACM's (Asbestos Containing Materials) in their properties. The latest version of the 'Mistic Asbestos Register' a companion product to 'Mistic Gas Inspections', 'Mistic Water Management' and 'Mistic for Contractors' was designed to meet this requirement and provide the facilities to efficiently manage asbestos incidents, planned surveys and ongoing periodic inspections of ACM's left in-situ. 'Mistic Asbestos Register' was designed and developed with one of Mistic Limited's RSL (Registered Social Landlord) , a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultant and a Certified Asbestos Removal Consultant. The software is fully compliant with MDHS100 and automatically calculates the material assessment and HSE priority assessment.  This asbestos register has been designed for ease of use by call centre staff with little or no experience of managing asbestos.  The ease of use in no way impairs the asbestos register's ability to efficiently manage the day to day and ongoing aspects of asbestos management whilst simultaneously maintaining the asbestos register details required under the MDHS100 regulations.   As well as all this, there is a detailed history of every asbestos incident from the initial incident report through to the current day.  The ability to attach  property plans, survey documentation, waste disposal certificates, sample documentation,  and site photographs, further enhances the asbestos register's functionality and enables front desk staff, as well as property management professionals to view all the details available at the touch of a button.
